- The shares closed at ₹30.38 against ₹28.68 on Friday on Kite data, a rise of 5.93% by my calculation, after trading between ₹28.32 and ₹30.52. Kotak Neo's report is timed at 4:05 PM.
Why it matters
Good to know: Provision coverage ratio is the share of a bank's bad loans for which it has already set aside money. At 97.69%, almost the whole of the bank's non-performing balance is covered, which is why net NPA (0.16%) is so much lower than gross NPA (1.19%).
