What happened
- The Ramco Cements said it had finished work to lift capacity at its Jayanthipuram cement plant in Andhra Pradesh, which makes both clinker and cement.
- Clinker capacity rose from 4.61 to 5.62 million tonnes a year (MTPA), and cement grinding capacity from 3.65 to 4.38 MTPA.
- According to Whalesbook's report of the filing, the company's total capacity is now 16.95 MTPA of clinker and 27.17 MTPA of cement grinding.
Why it matters
